This Friday will be the CTL's first Make. Play. Think. event, which will kick off during Community Time!

The CTL aims to provide students with many learning opportunities that go beyond books and toward the future of libraries. In addition to supporting curriculum, the CTL is a place of discovery, interaction and social learning opportunities.

With Make. Play. Think. our goal is to create a fun learning space that helps extend science and math concepts through games and toys that challenge the brain.

Petition Against Water Privatization in LA -- 7th Grade Water Challenge

Our 7th grade Windward Water Challenge is focused on Water Privatization in Los Angeles. We have decided to try and petition Los Angeles. We want to make LA recognize the human right of water. If you have a Los Angeles Public Library card, you can now access Hoopla. Hoopla is a digital media platform that gives access to digital entertainment content from either mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets and/or via any browser. Hoopla offers full length feature movies, episodic television programming, full musical albums and unabridged audiobooks. This service is currently in beta testing.
