    Jonathan Alter Talks Politics at Windward

    As a columnist and senior editor for Newsweek magazine since 1983 and a contributing correspondent to NBC News, Alter has covered seven presidential campaigns and written extensively on education reform and cancer research, including a 2007 Newsweek cover story about his own battle with cancer. Alter is also the author of The Defining Moment: FDR’s Hundred Days and the Triumph of Hope, published in 2006.
